When first launched, MediaMover will display the Media Folders tab where you can select which volumes to search for media folders.

1. In the Volumes list check the names of the volumes you want MediaMover to search for media folders.

HELPFUL FEATURE: MediaMover stores the names of the volumes you check to search, so that the next time you run MediaMover they will be pre-selected for you. This is especially handy if your storage is divided into a large number of volumes.

2. Click the Find Media Folders button to begin searching for media folders on the selected volumes. When found, MediaMover will add their names to the Media Folder Location list.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All of MediaMover's functions will be performed on the folders that are checked in this list, including Analyze Media Files, Move Offline, Move Online and Backup Project Media.

3. If you want to add additional media folders to the Media Folder Location list you can do so by clicking the Add Folder... button. A window will open that will allow you to select any folder on your system and add it to the list.

4. Be sure all the media folders you want are checked in the Media Folder Location list and click the Analyze Media Files Button.
