Once you've clicked the Analyze Media
Files button, MediaMover begins
examining every media file it finds in the media
folders you've selected and building a list of
the projects that are associated with them. The
Project list that is
displayed in the Online
Media tab contains useful
information about the media files stored on your
system, including the number of media files
associated with each project and the total amount
of disk space each project's media occupies.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Avid software
does not always embed the project name in all
media files. In some cases media files, such as
imported files, do not have the project name
written in them. MediaMover will always group
these files under the name "No Project Name" in
the Project list. They
can still be moved or backed up like any other
media file, but care should be taken to be sure
they are kept with the proper project.
